Crabby today!
Yes, I'm crabby today! It is a gloomy day with no sunshine but it is kinda muggy and as usual the wind is blowing a hundred miles an hour. I am doing my menial daily tasks, which to most I'm sure is not very difficult. You know, like folding clothes, cleaning house, yard maintenance, pet grooming, preparing the children's backpacks for school, homework helper, bookkeeper, the list is endless. Oh, and how could I forget child rearing. Did I mention these children I speak of also need me to feed them. I realize to some that this may seem like the easiest job in the world. But, did they give birth three times without any medication? Sorry, I just had to vent. I,ll have some wine later and read some of my book and I'm sure I'll feel better this evening;)

Hawk
I saw something out of the corner of my eye today while I was Swiffering the kitchen floor! It was some kinda big fricken animal, but I couldn't tell if it was standing on the ground or on the very tip, top of this smaller pine tree. Then, I put my glasses on and realized it was a Hawk, a big fricken Hawk, perched on this small pine tree and because of it's weight and the landscape behind it, it actually looked like it was standing on the ground. From the distance between our house and it's location it looked like the size of a large dog. Huge, bird!! DANGER, DANGER keep all small pets and children in the house because that Hawk was on the hunt!! I'm kinda scared to go outside myself. Cause I'm scared of hights and I'm afraid to fly!!! Wish me luck, bye....

Mother's Day!
We went out for breakfast this year. It was nice, the kids tried real hard not to bicker with each other, which for them can sometimes be difficult. Then we came home mowed the lawn and I got to relax in the sun on my new gravity lounge chair!! I've been wanting one of these for several years. I guess good things do come, to those who wait.. All, in all it was a pretty nice day.

Field Day!
The kids had their annual field day at school today. I watch them do the obstacle course, ball throw, three legged race, 50 yard dash, long run and the finale every year the tug of war. I even participated. After the second graders finished the 50 yard dash, they had all of the adults that were watching run it. All women, teachers and me, the only mom that ran. Oh, ya I rock!!! It was fun, a great day!

The Woozie!
My beautiful daughter from the islands, sent me a birthday/mother's day gift. I love it!! The cd is one of my favorite female artists and THE WOOZIE is, basically a can cooler for a wine glass! It's all tiger designed and I look real hot when I'm drinking my White Zin. One of the other benefits of the Woozie is my hubby can't tell how much wine I actually have in my glass! Ha, Ha..... Thank you, for the great gift! I love you island girl!!!!!!!!

The Trilogy
I DID IT!!!!!! I finished three novels in a week. I,m so hooked on these books that I am going to read them all over again. I know it sounds strange, but I am strangely obsessed with this whole story. Some of the personal events strangely mirror people that I know and have a close relationship with. That's all I can say about this now. Happy to give more information some time;) Bye, for now....

Earth worm!
Jar found himself an earth worm the other day while playing with the neighbors. It was big, and he was very happy about his earth worm! He kept it in a container with some wet dirt. Friday, before school he thought it might be a good idea to rinse the earth worm off with clean water. I stopped him, and explained that it's a damn worm, it likes being dirty. Jar then agreed and put the earth worm back in the dirt. Today, while I was busy down stairs, Jar decided today would be the day to ignore what I said yesterday! As I'm packing up some books, I here a small child crying in the hallway. I walk out of the office into the hallway and I ask the normal question. What happend? Jar looks up at me sobbing, and says, I was rinsing my earth worm off and he went down the drain... Being the sympathetic mom that I am, I started laughing!!! Seriously, who wouldn't?
